Project Phases

  1. Arrival & Orientation
    • Airport pick‑up, settling into Nairobi +/- local accommodation.
    • 2–3 day orientation workshop (project overview, cultural norms, safety training).
  2. On‑site Placement (12 weeks)
    • Education: Teaching in primary/kindergarten settings, English/math/science lessons, after‑school activities.
    • Health: Community outreach, disease prevention campaigns, clinic support.
    • Agriculture: Work on local farms (planting, weeding, animal care), sharing sustainable techniques.
    • Water & Sanitation: Helping install or maintain water systems, hygiene training, toilet sanitation.
  3. Community Interaction & Cultural Exchange
    • Daily immersion: sharing meals, local customs, language, and volunteer collaboration.
  4. Evaluation & Wrap‑up
    • Debriefing sessions, transfer of responsibilities to locals, departure certificate.
